SMÄKK began as a student project in Estonia, driven by a passion for health and indulgence. United by a common goal, the founders sought to create a product that supports well-being while satisfying sweet cravings.
Our Journey
Founded in 2023, SMÄKK began with a group of ambitious Estonian students at Tallinna Mustamäe Riigigümnaasium, passionate about creating a more enjoyable and accessible way to consume health supplements through chocolate. Inspired by real experiences with muscle recovery challenges, they envisioned magnesium-enriched chocolate as a smarter, tastier solution for active lifestyles.
In 2024, the team partnered with TalTech and leading food industry mentors, refining their production methods and developing a stable, high-quality formula using 60% Belgian dark chocolate enriched with magnesium citrate and vitamin B6.
By early 2025, SMÄKK had achieved national recognition — winning awards for Best Sales Strategy, Largest Sales Revenue, and a special prize from Southwestern Advantage. They consistently sold out at student fairs and built a growing customer base who valued both health and taste.
In 2025, SMÄKK evolved from a school project into a fully operational business, expanding production capabilities, strengthening their brand identity, and preparing to bring their products to a wider retail market.
Today, SMÄKK continues its mission: crafting delicious, functional chocolate that supports recovery, cognitive performance, and relaxation — making healthy living more enjoyable for everyone.
